THE BEST STORY EVER..! May 25, 2010
Compre esta pelical pensando que yo ceria el unico que disfrutaria esta pelicula, ya que la primera ves que la vi fue cuando heara un nino. Nunca me inmajine que mis dos hijos la comensarian a ver tambiem. Los primeros capitulos furon tan dramaticos que hicieron llorar a hija y a mi esposa. Nada se compara con esta historya.

Es una serie espectacular. Es un tratado completo de humanismo y esperanza. Cuando comienzas a verla, se te olvida que estás viendo una caricatura. Sientes cada momento como si fueras el acompañante de los personajes. Eso sí, prepárate para llorar.

What you will find inside this cartoon are the most beautiful principles of life. REMI will capture your attention till the end of the story. It will teach everybody who reads, watch or listen this story the most valuables lessons of life. It is a complete guidance for any growing kid or even older people who due to the stress of life normally separate themselves from nature and emotions. I wathced the whole cartoon when I was a kid and now 30 years later, I watched it again and learned this time more values than the first time. It is incredible how a cartoon can instill great values to a person. It must be assigned to schools as a mandatory lesson. I really recommend this story.

Remi is perhaps the best animated story that I have ever seen in my life, by far without comparison.
Highly emotive, the story line is very intense and quite original. still crying when" Corazon Alegre" dies.

Timeless, beautiful and moving story about love and friendship Dec 22, 2007
Spanish/English review follows: Creci viendo esta serie de televisión japonesa de los 80's (que ha sido traducida a varios idiomas), vi la película y lei el libro (del autor francés Hector Malot "Sans Famille (Nobody's Boy, 1878 )"... bella historia acerca de un huérfano ( Remi), que es vendido a un musico callejero (Vitalis) y sus animales entrenados. Remi busca reunirse con su madre adoptiva y aprende sobre el amor, la amistad, el respeto, la lealtad y el verdadero significado de familia. Remi pasa por muchos eventos traumáticos, pero también aprecia y disfruta de felices aventuras. De niña lloré y reí, esperando inpacientemente al dia siguiente para ver otro episodio y compartir un capítulo más en la vida de Remi-lo que es raro en los niños de hoy ya que las historias de ahora parecen haber disensitizado a los niños de sentimientos con la violencia. En Remi, cada episodio los niños y los adultos aprender algo acerca de la naturaleza humana y el poder del amor. Recomiendo esta sencilla pero potente historia a todo el mundo. No hay efectos especiales, ni fantasía anime encontraras aquí, sólo un lindo cuento sobre un chico y su viaje para tener una familia.
I grew up watching this 80's Japanese tv series (which has been translated to various languages), saw the movie and read the book (from french author Hector Malot " Sans Famille (Nobody's Boy, 1878)"...beautiful story about an orphan (Remi), who is sold to a streetmusician (Vitalis) and his trained animals. Remi's journey to reunite with his adoptive mother is memorable; he learns about love, friendship, respect, loyalty and the true meaning of family. Remi goes through many traumatic times, but also appreciates and enjoys happy adventures. As a young child I cried and laughed, waiting inpatiently for the next day to watch another episode to share one more chapter in Remi's life -which is rare in today's children's stories that appear to have disensitized kids' feelings with violence. In every episode children and adults learn something about human nature and the power of love. I would recommended this simple yet powerful story to everyone. No special effects, no fancy anime here, just a nice little tale about a boy and his journey for a family.
